A recent leak suggests that Fortnite might be gearing up for another exciting collaboration with Star Wars! Fortnite is no stranger to teaming up with popular franchises, offering players iconic characters from games, anime, movies, and even celebrities. Among these partnerships, Star Wars stands out as one of the most beloved and recognizable.
Over the seasons, Epic Games has introduced a variety of Star Wars-themed cosmetics, bringing fan-favorite characters into the Fortnite universe.
In 2022, players were thrilled to see Han Solo, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker skins added, featuring some of the most iconic heroes from the original Star Wars trilogy. On the villainous side, following the release of the Kylo Ren skin in 2019, Darth Vader made his grand debut in 2022, with Darth Maul joining in 2023. Now, according to a new leak, it looks like this collection might be expanding even further!
Well-known leaker iFireMonkey recently revealed concept art for a new skin, possibly based on a Star Wars TIE fighter pilot. Though the files reference a LEGO Fortnite skin, it’s expected that Epic Games will release a non-LEGO version as well, giving players even more options for their in-game adventures. TIE fighters are some of the most iconic ships in the Star Wars universe, playing crucial roles for both the Empire and the First Order.
Another intriguing hint comes from Twitter user Xgamer3607, who suggests that Fortnite could also be releasing a Rebel Leia Organa skin alongside the TIE fighter pilot. While the exact release date remains unknown,
it’s speculated that these cosmetics will arrive around the same time as the highly anticipated Chewbacca skin.
Earlier this year, Epic Games added even more Star Wars skins, including Dagobah Luke, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and the AWR Trooper.
In August, IG-11 and Moff Gideon also joined the Fortnite roster. As for the TIE fighter pilot and Rebel Leia Organa skins, it remains to be seen whether they’ll be available directly in the store or as part of a special event.
