A vibrant update for Slime Rancher 2’s early access version has completely revamped how you can personalize the world of Rainbow Island and your slime ranch.

The fresh Gadgets My Way update, launched on February 8, expands slime interaction with gadgets, revamps the building system, and introduces 36 new gadgets to discover across the island.

Excitingly, you can now construct a colossal pinball-like machine with bumpers to bounce your slimes around. This addition brings heaps of fun!

The highlight of the update allows you to build gadgets anywhere, enhancing interaction with slimes throughout the island. Whether it’s crafting a wilderness theme park or sprucing up your home base, the possibilities are endless. Additionally, every zone in the world has received minor expansions.

This significant update is powered by an enhanced building system and an array of new gadgets, some of which are quite sizable.

“Experience a transformative building system with streamlined Gadget mode HUD, providing a more intuitive building experience, and an innovative collection review system integrated into the updated Slimepedia. This update not only simplifies constructing your dream ranch but also enriches the process of discovering and cataloging your unique slime and gadget collections,” stated developer Monomi Park.

And what about the future of Slime Rancher 2? “Fear not, Ranchers. The fun doesn’t end with Gadgets My Way. We have two more updates planned for this year: one will drop Summer 2024 and the other is targeted for Fall 2024. We’ll share more details on what to anticipate next soon,” assured Monomi Park.
