Rocket Racing cars cosmetics now cheaper in Fortntie!

Last week, Fortnite introduced Rocket Racing, a thrilling new addition to the gaming universe.

However, amidst the excitement, the community raised concerns about the prices of its accompanying cosmetics. The great news? Epic has responded swiftly and positively, announcing permanent price adjustments for all Rocket Racing cars that will undoubtedly delight players!

The adjustments are significant and player-friendly. The uncommon (green) rarity cars, previously priced at 2,500 V-Bucks, will now be available for 1,500 V-Bucks. Similarly, the rare (blue) ones, previously at 4,000 V-Bucks, are now set at 2,500 V-Bucks. This change makes these incredible vehicles more accessible to everyone in the Fortnite universe.

Notably, the Diesel, the only rare car initially available in the shop, was one of the most expensive major cosmetics in the game, costing 4,000 V-Bucks, approximately equating to $30 or more. However, Epic’s commitment to making in-game purchases more reasonable shows in this adjustment, especially for players enjoying Rocket League in conjunction with Fortnite.

For those incredible players who’ve already splurged on these cars, there’s more good news! Epic plans to refund the difference in price within a week, ensuring fairness and gratitude to the community.

Epic’s decision to adjust V-Buck prices for cosmetics is a rarity in itself. While Fortnite has seen changes in standard item prices over the years, direct adjustments to older items have been unprecedented until now. Epic’s dedication to enhancing player experience, evident in its previous lower standard prices and exceptional bundles like the Alien Abduction bundle, remains steadfast.

The recent launch of Fortnite Festival alongside Rocket Racing brought a plethora of captivating cosmetics, some of which garnered attention for their pricing, such as the 1500-V-Buck guitar. While Epic hasn’t announced adjustments for these Festival items yet, the positive shift in Rocket Racing prices reflects a promising trend toward more player-friendly pricing.

Fortnite continues to evolve, and Epic’s responsiveness to community feedback signals a commitment to creating an enjoyable and inclusive gaming environment. With these exciting changes, Rocket Racing enthusiasts and Fortnite fans alike have more reason than ever to dive into the exhilarating world Epic Games has crafted.
