Splatoon 3 reveals exciting DLC – Dive into solo adventures!

Nintendo is set to delight Splatoon 3 players with a wave of new content as the Side Order DLC makes its grand entrance on Nintendo Switch on February 22, 2024.

In this upcoming addition to the vibrant multiplayer game, players can look forward to a fresh serving of single-player excitement.

The announcement comes with a brief and captivating trailer, offering a glimpse into the mysterious world awaiting players. The hero Inkling embarks on a captivating journey, transported to a seemingly colorless Matrix version of Splatoon 2’s Inkopolis Square hub area. The narrative remains veiled in secrecy, beckoning players to once again take control of Agent 8.

As highlighted on the Splatoon 3 website, the Side Order DLC introduces a new single-player campaign. Players are invited to join forces with a drone claiming to be Off the Hook member Pearl. Together with Agent 8, they must navigate through challenging floors, facing waves of enemies on their ascent to the top of the Spire, unraveling its well-guarded secrets. The experience is enhanced by the use of color chips to boost abilities, promising a replayable adventure.

Since its launch in September 2022, Splatoon 3 has been a powerhouse, delivering an array of engaging storylines, characters, locations, and, of course, multiplayer features. While the heart of the game lies in multiplayer gameplay, Nintendo continues to enrich the experience with exciting DLC content.

For those equipped with the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, the first Wave titled “Inkopolis Plaza” has already been unveiled. This content allows players to revisit the hub world of the original game, introducing new shopkeepers and performances from the Squid Sisters during Splatfests.

Side Order, part of Wave 2, is poised to satisfy the appetite for solo content as seasonal updates unfold. In the initial Splatoon 3 single-player review, the campaign was praised for its innovative open hub world design, featuring short yet fulfilling missions that encourage experimentation with various weapons and abilities.

Prepare for a solo adventure like no other as Splatoon 3 serves up the Side Order DLC, promising thrilling challenges and mysteries to unravel on February 22, 2024. Get ready to dive into a world of color,
creativity, and captivating gameplay.
