In a recent announcement, Ubisoft shares its vision for the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Season Pass and unveils captivating story DLC summaries. The journey to the release of Massive Entertainment’s highly-anticipated open-world title has been longer than expected, with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora experiencing delays that pushed its launch almost a year after James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way of Water graced movie theaters.

Despite the delays, the game seems to be on an upward trajectory since its December release date reveal at Ubisoft Forward earlier this year. Recent hands-on previews suggest that Avatar breaks new ground in the open-world genre, diverging from Ubisoft’s typical formula seen in franchises like Far Cry or Assassin’s Creed. With less than a month until the official launch, Ubisoft is now offering a glimpse into what lies beyond.

Ubisoft took to social media to share a captivating new trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, offering insights into the studio’s post-launch roadmap, featuring a Season Pass and two story DLC packs. These additions can be acquired separately or enjoyed as part of the Gold and Ultimate versions of the game. The Ultimate Edition, in particular, comes with exclusive bonuses, including a digital artbook, Sarentu Heritage Cosmetic Pack, and Sarentu Hunter Equipment Pack, in addition to the Familiar Echoes bonus quest.

In an exciting development, PS5 owners will enjoy exclusive features, with Ubisoft confirming that the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will provide a heightened immersive experience. This enhanced experience will be particularly noticeable when using specific weapons like the bow or engaging in traversal mechanics such as sliding after a sprint or jumping off special flora. The stage is set for an immersive and dynamic adventure as players delve into the world of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
