Great news, Pokémon GO trainers! There’s a fantastic new feature in town called Party Play, and it’s about to level up your Pokémon GO experience. Let’s dive into the details!

Pokémon GO has been on a seven-year journey of adding exciting content to keep us engaged, and this year is no different. One of the big additions was Shadow Raids, which amped up the challenge in Raids by introducing Shadow Pokémon. Another cool feature this year was Routes, which allowed players to document and share their walking paths with others, adding a touch of the main series games to Pokémon GO.

Now, the spotlight is on Party Play. It’s all about teaming up with other trainers for some Pokémon-filled fun. Here’s how it works: instead of the usual Raid Battles, you create a party by going to your in-game profile and accessing the Party tab. The game generates a numerical or QR code that you can share with up to three nearby trainers. Once everyone’s together, the host starts the party, and you’re back on the map.

In the Party Play tab, you can see an activity summary that covers Pokémon, Throws, Adventure, Battle, and General categories. To celebrate this new feature, there’s a Special Research quest that can earn you exclusive Eevee-themed t-shirts for your avatar.

But that’s not all! Party Play comes with challenges. After you form a party, you’ll get a notification asking which challenge you want to tackle. Challenges can be about catching Pokémon, spinning PokéStops, or battling in Raids, and you’ll get rewards for completing them. Plus, there’s a bonus called Party Power. It doubles the damage from your next Charged Attack, and the more trainers in your party, the stronger the Party Power.

Party Play is all about creating a more immersive and interactive experience for Pokémon GO players. However, some trainers have raised concerns about privacy, as Party Play involves sharing codes with other players. Don’t worry; Niantic is expected to provide more information about this feature in their Help Center, so you can learn how it all works and ensure your privacy.

So, grab your mobile devices and get ready to party it up with your fellow trainers in Pokémon GO. Gotta catch ’em all, right?

Remember, Pokémon GO is available for Android and iOS, so you can embark on your Pokémon journey wherever you are!
