It’s October, and you know what that means – Halloween is here! Fortnite players, get ready for some seriously spooky fun as Epic Games is throwing a wicked event called Fortnitemares 2023. This event runs until November 3, and it’s packed with all things Halloween. Let’s dive into the exciting stuff you can expect:

Awesome New Outfits:
Epic Games is bringing in some fantastic new outfits, and this year’s Halloween lineup is super cool! We’ve got four new original skins: wrapped rapscallion Seth, muckfish Bogstick, meownstrosity Phantom Meowscles, and nautilus Festival Phaedra.

Joining the party is Jack Skellington from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” You can find him in the Item Shop, and when you grab his outfit, you’ll also get some cool accessories like the Zero Back Bling, Peppermint Parasol Pickaxe, and Jack’s Sled Glider. Plus, Jack’s Scary Face Emote comes with the outfit, and you can ride around on a clawfoot with the universal Lock, Shock, and Barrel’s Tub Emote.

Halloween wouldn’t be complete without Michael Myers. You’ll find him in the Item Shop with a whole set, including a musical emote, a jack-o-lantern back bling, and a knife pickaxe.

Alan Wake, the famous author, will also make an appearance later in the event. His outfit comes with a satchel bag, weapon and vehicle skins, and a special flashlight-themed pickaxe.

New and Spooky Weapons:
Epic Games isn’t stopping at outfits; they’re adding some awesome weapons too! First up is the Wood Stake Shotgun, which you can find on the ground, in chests, and holo-chests. And don’t miss Thorne’s Vampiric Blade; you can grab it after defeating the vampire, Kado Thorne. It restores your health when you deal damage to enemies.

If you’re in the mood for some explosive fun, the Pumpkin Launcher is back from the vault. It lets you launch explosive jack-o-lanterns to give your opponents a good scare. You can find it in various places, including regular and rare chests, holo-chests, and flying drones.

But wait, there’s more! You can now hop on a Witch Broom, a new traversal item, and soar into the sky to glide safely back to the ground. Look for it in chests or on the ground.

Tasty Treats:
Around the battle island, you’ll discover different pieces of candy, each with unique effects like Candy Corn, Pepper Mints, Hot Drops, and Jelly Beans. Eating these will surprise you with fun effects, like temporary low gravity from Hot Drops. You can find these sweet surprises in Candy Buckets, by ringing doorbells, defeating guards, or eliminating bosses.

Fortnitemares Quests and Rewards:
Epic Games has whipped up some exciting quests for you to complete during Fortnitemares 2023. Here’s what you can earn:

Finish 5 Fortnitemares Quests to get the Bat Royale Back Bling and a Cat Banner Icon.

These quests will roll out throughout the event, so keep an eye out for them!

Horde Rush Experience:
The limited-time Horde Rush experience is back, and it’s a blast! Team up and take on Cube Monster hordes at different locations until you defeat the Final Boss. As you defeat monsters, you’ll earn points and can rack up your score with combos and collectible multipliers. This mode is available throughout Fortnitemares 2023, ending on November 3.
